in addition to the "fracking process", you might be thinking of the word "frack".
That is a word invented by the sci-fi show Battlestar Galattica. An invented word in the 70s or 80s, because they could not curse on TV. A couple years ago, the new show used frack for anything and everything. Noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, the whole lot of tenses and tones.
The Bible tells us exactly in Genesis 2:7. "God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul."
The same substances dirt is made of is found in our bodies. So is the air we breathe. We are given the ingredients but not the process. That we are not able to understand yet, nor are we stable ebough mentally or morally to do so.
The Bachlor runs 24 hours a day with other "Reality" shows.
Seriously though, it is the Bible that shows us the true condition of the dead. Not some made up piece of stolen pagan dogma. Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 states this clearly. "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten....10 All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going."
In Hebrew the word is Sheol, in Greek it is Hades and in English it is Hell. All these words mean only the grave. The grave is where we all go once we are dead. Before this in Eccles. 3:19-20, it shows where we go. "For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust."
Dead to the dirt, with no stops in between. There is no purgatory. And no, it isn't your soul traveling on without you. The soul is you. Genesis 2:7 defines what makes a living soul. "God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul." We are living souls. If we die, we are dead souls. No. The soul does die.
Surprised? Astounded? This has been available in the Bible, in English for 500 years. Why have you never been told? God says, "Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." (Ezekiel 18:4)
The fact of the matter is that in death, we gave no ability to feel, see, know, do anything at all. We can not be aware of our surroundings. In fact, Psalms 146:3-4 shows, "Do not put YOUR trust in nobles, Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs.4His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish." No thoughts, no pain nor bliss, nor worry.
Purgatory is another one of those keep the money flowing ideas of the clergy. "I can pray your relative out of purgatory, but it will cost you." It is NOT a concept the Bible agrees with.
Well, if they are hearing voices, get their hearing aids checked. But if they are reading such answers from the Bible, then they should be listened to. God has not had his angels convey any messages since the Bible was completed. BVecause once that was done, everything we needed to know for now and about a thousand years into the future is wrapped up in the Bible itself.
It is only when we read, never insert our own personal opinions into the scriptures. Errors like that are why we now have 48,000 religions all claiming to be Christian, according to the latest Pew Poll. (Just a few years ago, there were only 38,000.)
Instead, we need to let the Bible explain itself. By refering to other sections talking about the same items, we get a correct understanding of the scripture. These are not voices, but written references. Such as the various wild beasts of Revelation. While some think unicorns or dinosaurs, serious people look to Isaiah, Daniel and Ezekiel to see when they referred to wild beasts, they symbolized human governments who effected God's human people. Then we correctly see in Revelation, those wild beasts are the various human governments through time until today. Each head is a power. Each horn represents if it was one government or a dual power like the US and the UK. They would be a two horned head.
You are not hearing God with your ears unless someone is reading it to you.
Why would you do this thing? Baptisms are the public sign of ones privately dedicating their lives to God's service. Can your baby personally do that? Is he of an age where he can understand and know exactly what that means? Can he reason on matters to reach a sound decision about his own life course? If he cannot do all these things, he has no use for baptism. This is the Bible's viewpoint as well as Jesus'.
Don't worry about practices invented by priests. They did it only to collect more money. That is and always has been their primary purpose--to make more money anyway they can. Usually by getting naive people to do what their backwards collars tell them to do. It is God's standards we humans much seek and do. No human priest can ever give us one more minute of life. God can give us eternal life.
The Jews descended from Noah and family along with everyone else human on this planet. All races as well. Many generations down from Noah came Abraham, who began as the father of Israel.
It needs to be pointed out as well that the fallen angels were the only other ones safe from the Flood waters. By their returning to spirit existence. Neither the human wives nor the sons could do so. They all died.
Neither was any other area spared the Flood due to where the water came from. Both Genesis 1:6-7 and 2 Peter 3:5-6 show there was a water canopy surrounding the planet. How thick it was, we are not told. We can say by mathmatics, the wider the circle, the more water required to make it. More than adequate to cover the planet. That the Earth then had to make great changes in the plates to accomodate the increased mass is why it took a year for the water to "go down" enough for exit from the Ark. Some parts of the surface sank while other parts rose. Today this still goes on but without the dramatic change. The planet mass has been a constant since the Flood. No extra water will comer down again.
Yes, he did at Heb. 10:23-26. But he was not talking about coming to sit together as one would wait for a bus. It brings out we must encourage one another, build one another up, strengthen one another, especially in these final days of this corrupt world ruled by Satan. We should also srengthen and increare our public declaration of God's Kingdom that will wipe this corrupt system away and take control for both the planet and every living creature on it for their common good.
