Having a nap in the afternoon would certainly help people working shift hours or excesive overtime who have been drained of their overused phisical resources. Mind you, in countries with excesive high temperatures it is imperative to have a siesta -as a afternoon nap is called in such circunstances. That doesn't mean that it improves productivity, quite the opposite!
