All science is taxonomy. The discipline of comparative religions, like all scientific endeavors requires a survey of not only similarities, but also of differences. Even a cursory study of the subject will render the obvious answer that any apparent similarities between Judaism or Christianity with any myth or ancient religion is far out weighed by their differences.

OK, before I answer, I need to give a disclaimer; I believed in Santa right through the 5th grade. My Dad supprised me in the bath room  on his way on to the roof on Christmas eve dressed like  Santa.. As for the Easter Bunny, nah. But if you are under 12 years of age, then  I recomend that you believe in all happy and good things., There will be plenty of time to be a skeptic later. :}

Unfortunatly tax increases are never going to end and they will never solve the problems that plague our nation. Give Obama the benifit of the doubt; he is trying what he thinks will work. But he is in over his head. Class warfare is not helpfull. I personaly believe that a flat tax accross the board is a good start. It may be too late to fix it at this point, but it's worth a try.
