It is not hard to lose weight. It is matter of balance and common sense. Its like your bank account if you put more in than you take out than you have a big bank account if you take out more than you have than you have a negative account. You simply have to watch what you eat. No one wakes up one morning is overweight even if it is just 5 pounds overweight, weight is put on gradually and it is taken off gradually ( usually). Just really watch what you eat, if you are not exercising or moving all that much during the day then your body does not need to eat that much for energy. If you are active you simply can eat more. Just use common sense and you can lose weight and keep it off.

I think squats do wonders for the legs. I try to do at least 60 a day sometimes I use weights when I squat and other times I do not.

I am currently on Suboxone, before taking Suboxone I was taking many pain pills a day. I hear people say there is an underline problem and this is why people take drugs. I do not think I have any underline problems I was not taking drugs so I could bury some emotional pain or I wasnt taking drugs to deal with anything I just took them because they made me feel good. My family knew I was taking them because I would ask them if they had any pain medicine and they ALL would say NO. Not one family member ( I have 5 brothers and 1 sister) said to me I think you have a problem and need help. I finally had to say to myself I do not need to spend my money on pills and I do not need to take these pills so I made up my own mind and I stopped. Of course I just couldnt stop because the physical pain was really bad so I sought out a doctor who could prescribe medicine to help with the withdraws. I know my family loves me and the fact they never confronted me with my problem speaks volume to me. I think at some point someone may have said something but I believe they felt I could handle my own life. I have always been a responsible person and even while on pills I was a responsbile person I think if I had shown that something was going on I couldnt handle they would have stepped in. I think you should just be by your sisters side and she will reach out when she hits rock bottom if she cant get help on her own.

You CAN only lose weight by eating less calories then you burn in a day its as simple as that. You should not DIET you should just try to eat healthy and drink lots of water. Eat foods that are healthy and if you do not like a certain healthy food you can always add some type of spice to give it more flavor. You do not have to go to a gym to exercise just take stairs instead of elevator when you get the chance. Park your car in the space that is further away from the front door so you have to walk. If you know where something is in the store instead of walking right to it walk around the long way. Something as simple as while you are sitting on the couch you can lift your leg up and down or swing your arms or something. Move as much as possible.

You may be able to lose 50 pounds fast by eating very very little and exercising a whole lot but I guarantee that you would gain 50 pounds back and more once you started eating ( probably like you did in the past) and stop exercising. You have to lose weight slowly and put your new habits into HABITS. First start by cutting out one food that is the most in calories and fat and do not eat this food until your cheat day. You have to have one JUST ONE cheat day a week to satisy whatever you think you are missing in the week. For example I use to drink at least 4 or 5 sodas a day ( Dr. Pepper) well I simply just stopped drinking Dr. Pepper all together and it has helped tremendously. Secondly do not eat past a certain time at night. Night eating is the worst. You do have to exercise I use to walk in place and watch TV 20 minutes go by faster than you think. You have to set a goal for yourself one that is reachable. Like I said have one day a week where you can eat what you want without guilt you will find over time that you really do not want those foods that you were eating that were bad and fatty or you find that you cannot eat as much as you use too. Drink water, water helps you lose weight. Park your car has far away as you can from the store so you have to walk use stairs instead of elevators all of these little things add up. Once you start to lose weight and you see you are making progress it gets easier and easier. Good Luck to you!
