lol So did my kids ! I recall little Storm coming to me holding up her tooth proudly with a mouth full of kleenex .. "Wook MOM I did it!" LOL

I dated a guy who did his own root canal with a safty pin and butter knife. Gee gads I loved that guy!  Me?  My mom would put a thread around it and yank. And then there is the old tie it to the door and slam it shut.......

My son watched a girl pierce her cheek with a safety pin during lunch detention. A friend's daughter used a safety pin to pierce her nose.
Duct tape and safety pins, tools of the trade.

eegads gals ... I walked in on an old boyfriend yanking out his own molar with a pair of filthy pliers!! I knew we would not last after that ... meeps!

OK, remember that vividly, Lindilou. Should help stop the madness!

Only as a kid....wiggle, wiggle, jiggle, jiggle....out!!!   Yay!

I got my Dad or my younger siblings to do it ... I am not dentistry-inclined at all! LoL My poor kids had to yank their own! I think I did it once and used about 14 kleenexes ... mew mew! lol

My father used pliers on our baby teeth. Dentists today, cringe at the thought. haha

Yep ... Paw sterilised them with his zippo ... LoL

    Imagine.....and we're both still alive. :)

    Indeed Duck indeed. lmbo

    STOP THAT RIGHT NOW, LINDILOU.

Your tooth is not loose like those baby teeth from long ago. The root is almost as big as the exposed tooth. When my tooth was pulled, the yanking back and forth nearly dislodged my jaw.

Don't miss your appointment and be ready for an hour of site bleeding.

Not every person loses their baby teeth Bob. My half brother did not lose his baby teeth when he was a child. My brother is 44 years old and the teeth he still has left in his mouth are his baby teeth.

Not common, but certainly not unheard of, CB, for sure. One friend had permanent tooth grow right next to the "baby". Wisdom teeth grow sideways, or never sprout. I have cousins who didn't get the tooth between the top front teeth and incisors .
What an interesting dental "history" for your family. Good thing those "baby" teeth are still there!

Fortunately, I am speaking of my half brother, we have the same mother but different fathers, my brother inherited this from his dad.

XY chromosomes? My cousin's missing permanent teeth were XX. Their brothers had those teeth.

Just picturing all of this makes me ill. I would hate to be a dentist or even worse, a dental hygienist! Ugh.

My little brother could not afford to go to the dentist so when he had a rotten tooth, he sat on the front porch and drank a whole bottle of homemade wine before he tried to pull his tooth  He became so inebriated after drinking the bottle of wine that he forgot the whole purpose as to why he got drunk in the first place. :((  HA!

LoL As a teenager I got really hammered one night when we all lied and said we were doing sleepovers at one another's house ... ended up we all got caught but when I slithered through the door I had the meanest tooth agony going and forced my Paw to haul that tooth outta there ... poor guy I think it hurt him more than me! I passed out immediately afterwards and always thereafter knew I could trust my Paw for anything ... God I miss that dude. I could get him to .... nawww he'd make me go to a dentist...LOL

Your paw had probably passed out along side you, but you didn't know it. :)
