I would give the people truth of their history, where we can from. Whether from God or Alien or Evolution the truth be told. More lives have been lost, more hatred created due the fact of our ignorance of our true and complete history of the universe and how we fit in it.

I have done a lot of studies of different systems of spirituality and the answer is a big NO! Throughout history spirituality and sexuality are connected, in many ways the one and the same. Homosexuality was actually practiced and condoned by the catholic church until about the 5 century a.d.. Which some say is the time they choose Jesus divinity. Most religions outside the Abraham linage have no problem with the idea homosexuality. All religions use their system for power and control over themselves or their follower and have used sex as one of the biggest factors of that control. Almost all say that their priests or nuns or spiritual leaders must abstain. I think the real question is when will you listen to your higher power, whoever that is, and love your neighbors, judge not, and be your bothers/sisters keeper and be the best you can be, through love, nothing else. God says the same thing to every religion, Do As You Wish But Harm None In Every Way.
