" Loose stones travel slowly" "Stop on the red signal' "Wanted - Head Fitter"
Have faith, believe and try Christianity for yourself. It is easy to ridicule when not having had the personal experience of Christ. "Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you".
Atheists come, atheists go - God remains.
I live in Australia. After a gun crazed massacre at Port Arthur some years ago ownership of guns was banned, other than for farm use or sporting use when they are kept under strict controls. The crime rate where guns are used had dropped remarkably. Guns bread violence. They will never be stamped out completely but we are so fortunate we just don't have very much gun violence at all any more. The thought of having to own a gun for protection is frightening but understandable in a society where guns are not banned. On the other hand the Bible is the book of life for many Christians.
It certainly is helpful. But don't let us Christians say it is not helpful to non- believers. Anyone who opens the Bible will be helped by God to gain something from it. I have known of non-believers who looked into the Bible to criticize what is there but who have been converted in the process. Bit like the person who wrote "Who Moved the Stone ?" . He was a scientist deliberately setting out to prove that the stone at the entrance to Jesus' tomb was removed by human hands. In the process of his investigation he became a Christian. To the Christian the Bible is the source of life. I find the New Testemont particularly helpful.
Ignorance comes in many shapes and forms including 'rubbishing' people's beliefs without ever having tried and tested them. Anyone who has come to God and asked for His presence in their lives would never make some of the comments made. "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord."
Have printed it out to send to family and friends. God is good. Thanks for posting
That the Creator of the universe and all that is it it should care for us as individuals
