I own a timeshare in Mexico--the maintenance fees are becoming excessive. I want to get rid of it--sell, barter, donate, or by any method possible. Any suggestions (for reputable companies?

We are walking away from our timeshare & owe 12,00.00 can the debt collection agency garnish our wages or tap into our bank account?
