pull the longest spark plug wire off of the spark plug by gripping the boot and pulling up. Twist the boot to the left and right if you have trouble removing the boot from the spark plug.
Follow the wire to the distributor cap and remove any wire holders along the way. The wire holders are used to secure the spark plug wires in the engine compartment.
Remove the opposite end of the wire from the distributor cap and pull the wire out of the engine compartment.
Match the length of the replacement spark plug wire to the length of the wire you removed. If you do not use the same size spark plug wire then it will not fit from the distributor cap to the spark plug. By replacing the longest wire first you will recognize immediately if you grabbed the incorrect replacement wire.
Attach one boot to the open terminal on the distributor cap by placing the boot over the terminal and pressing down.
Route the wire through the engine compartment and attach it to the open spark plug wire.
Attach the wire holders to the new spark plug wire.
Repeat Steps 3 through 9 for the remaining spark plug wires and then reattach the negative battery cable to the negative battery terminal thats how i do any vehicle
