LOVE!!!!! Thank you for posting
i feel supported and loved:)
Im am so sorry to hear you are feeling so down. Sometimes when I feel that way talking to a good friend or family member can always help. Also, try to think of things you can do for others. Sometimes getting your mind off of yourself is one of the best things you can do.
Maybe volunteering somewhere or just taking time to listen to someone who also might need a listening ear or a compassionate heart. I am sure you have so many gifts to give to the world!! It feels good when you start sharing them with others. Cheer up :) There is always hope!
God is the greatest lover of us all. Think about how you feel when someone you love is suffering...often times it can be quite unbearable to watching a loved one go through a painful experience. Likewise I think God shares in our suffering and hardship...he loves us too much to abandon us like that.
God is uncreated. So therefore always has been and always will be. Certainly a great mystery none of us can really wrap our minds around. But then again he is God so what else would you expect??
Love is synonymous with sacrifice and therefore resides in the will of a person. When you love someone you put their good above your own regardless of the cost to yourself.
Lust is in emotions and take little consideration for the other.
I think you would have to first ask the question: What is evil? I understand evil as the antithesis of Good. In other words evil is good that has been distorted or twisted. Good can exist without evil but evil canNOT exist without good. For example murder is evil. However, in order for murder to take place a person must be first exist (which is good). Or when 2 people are in love...and they are willing the good for the other...no evil needed for the Good that is occurring.
I guess what i am trying to say is we do not have to have evil for the sake of evil. But perhaps it is just an unfortunate consequence of the free will God has given us. As God has called us to love him...freedom is needed in order to make that choice. If we did not have free will we would be slaves, and therefore unable to love.
I dont think you need one, but it can certainly help. it has helped me. Just choose wisely. We were made for each other so why not help each other achieve spiritual fulfillment and a better relationship with God?
There is an interesting story about St. Augustine....
He was walking on the beach one day contemplating the great mystery of the Trinity. Suddenly he spots a young boy running from the ocean to a hole he dug the sand. Back and forth he ran filling up his pale with ocean water then dumping it into the sand hole he created.
He noticed the boy was getting a bit distraught as every time he poured the water into the hole it would quickly disappear. Augustine approached the boy and said "boy what are you doing?!?" The boy responded "I am trying fit the ocean in my sand hole"....Augustine quickly remarked "foolish boy you cant fit the ocean in the little hole!"
the boy responded "and you cant fit the Trinity in that little head"
As much as we try to explain the Trinity it still remains a great mystery. And as we all know the nature of a mystery is the more you discover the more there is to discover....
When you look at an airplane, computer, an amazing structure...you must think to yourself someone with a significant amount of intelligence and creativity must have created this. Likewise, maybe the same goes for us as too.
