I became friends with a muslim man from Africa a year and a half ago, we are very close and altho I found his religion weird for a start, as he explained it to me, I was always keen to know more. I am a christian. He is a dear friend and I love him very much. I wud be lost without him.

good question ole hipster. I personally wud not because wen u buy a new item, say a washing machine, it comes with a free guarantee anyway. Now its new so it shud last several years, and wot i find is the problems start not long after the guarantee runs out, this has happened to me a couple of times. But the best insurance I ever took out was a few years ago wen a company called offering 3 electrical items under 5 years old to insure for as long as u wanted and it cost ?9 a month. Well my washing machine had several repairs including a new drum and didital programmer and my dyson hoover also needed new parts and I never had any excess to pay.

The day of the 911 wen I came home from work and put on tv, I thot it was a movie, and went to turn over the channel, same on 3 channels, then wen I realised wat had happened I sat in shock, staring at the tv, flicking from channel to channel in disbelief. I cried for those poor people lost in the planes, the towers and the firemen and their families. It was a sad sad day for the world. I have watched many programmes about what really happened and I do not think the US government were behind it, why wud they do such a thing, and to what benefit, None. It was terrorists and that was it. People turned against muslims after the 911 but that was wrong because muslims are not bad people, it is the same no matter what background or religion you come from.... there will always be a bad one who wants to kill innocent people for whatever their sick excuse.

this is a good question and has mixed replies, where i live there is no such thing as a curfew for all teens, only the odd one that has been in serious trouble, so i dont really know if it works or not. But having 3 teens of my own and remembering wot I was like as a teen, if ur parents said not to do something; you wud do it, or do the opposite of wot they say, its a teen thing, only a small minority are perfect teens. Its part of growing up. I have seen on tv, places in America that have curfews and I think its a shame, but I also think if when a teen breaks or vandalises someone elses property, the parents should be made to pay the fine or repair costs, that wud take crime down a lot.

4 years ago I went to Tunisia to have a gastric band fitted, it cost ?3500, not including flights etc from Scotland. I was sick and unwell after coming home and constant trips to hospital travelling 4 hours a time and paying around ?300 each visit. Eventually had to go back to Tunisia to have it removed,costing few thousand, as I was ill and could not eat anything other than liquid, not even a yogurt wud go down. And I did all this because being a bit overweight and finding out my husband was * another woman, I was desperate to do anything to look good for him, I only made myself ill, and now we are separated because of the other woman.

I said I Love You to my daughter 2 hours ago wen she came back from asda with a packet of nuts for me.And said it to my friend in Senegal wen talking to him on the fone about 3 hours ago.

My first thot wen I saw this question was the series years ago called Roots. I was a young teenager wen I saw this and never forgot how bad the white people treated Black people. 2years ago I saw the DVD collection for Roots and I bought it. It makes me ashamed to be white to think our nation treated black people that way. This is the real meaning of slavery. But even in the 21st centuary I am sure it still exists in the form of young children put out to work/prostitution by their parents to earn money to support their family.

I put these bits of wood on the wall above my windows to attach the curtain poles, wen I went to buy them I used the small size skirting boards, and cut 2 size, especially good for old lathe and plaster walls in older houses, saves making holes all over the place looking for a solid bit of lathe to screw into.Hope this helps.
