I am living in an earth quake zone on the Pacific West coast, so everytime I see a rainbow I think about God's promise not to destroy the world with water...by the way I see lots of rainbows so I am counting on that promise;)

It reminds me of the beautiful song:

Somewhere over the rainbow,

Way up high,

There is a land that I heard of

Once in a lullaby.

A delight sight brought to you by God
Thank Him for it

I see the beauty of it and am reminded of the covenant God made with Noah.

A rainbow is God's promise for tomorrow; just like a baby, a promise of days yet to accept Him. 

 Steve Irwins promise to try and save the Whales and other marine life, his boat is called the Rainbow Warrior RIP Steve, but his work lives on

If rainbows only started after the Flood, did they not exist for the 1500 years between then and Creation?

I feel that the rainbow is a sign from God, no longer would he destroy the earth as it was ment to abide forever.Eccl 1:4 Jesus pointed to the flood and compaired it to today; men marring, building houses, taking no note= man just doing his thing and not taking note of God and what His plan for the earth is. Remember the bible says only 8 souls survied the flood. Only righteous will live on the earth after Jesus distroyes the evil people.It was Jehovah's will to have perfect people live forever on a paridice earth when He created the earth and man in the begginning. He gave man a choice to worship Him or go his own way...we are not robots, God gives us a choice. Most choose to rule themselves rather than come under the Kingdom that Jesus taught his followers to pray for. Mat 6:9 Note that prayes teaches us that that name was holy. Today man thru the worlds religions have taken the name out of the Bible and speak of God by a title only.Would you want to be honored by a title only? Or do you want to be called by name?

The Rainbow Bridge where all our animals are waiting for us. How happy I will be.

When I paint, I use the sequence of the rainbow colors and everything turns out just right. I don't like to see a painted rainbow where the artist has used the wrong colors. The rainbow sequence is:         Red. Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple. People tell me that they like the way I use colors ... That's my secret. 

It also means beauty & love & the colors of the gay flag. 

I LOVE rainbows. I wrote a story called "Iris Crisis" Iris is the mythical Goddess of  the rainbow.

To me a rainbow means it is breakfast time. I have a prism hanging in my kitchen window and when the sun strikes it a spectrum drifts around the room, and although it has been raining a lot the earth has not been destroyed (yet).

A rainbow trout means some really good eating Yummy….

A prism produces the same color separation as water forms in a rainbow. But there are other factors at work in a rainbow such as every persons view of the rainbow is a different rainbow that no one but you can see due to the angular relationship between you, the sun and the rain. There is a lot of room for thought in this subject that opens many doors.
