    What did you want to do as a profession when you were a child? Did you become what you wanted to be?

    I think when we are children we don't understand money very much, did you grow up and do what you wished to do as a child?

    As a child, I had so many. I did not make up mind until I became an adult. My profession is real estate investing.

    Cool, I know a friend who wholesales real estate, he makes tons of money and really likes it. I was considering getting into it for a while, maybe someday as a side business?

    Nope.but I'm happy with the career I chose.It's provided for my family & me & that's as good as it gets.
    I wanted to be a nurse, got way off course, but did graduate with a degree a few months before I was 40 years old and I am grateful I did. Loved nursing.
    We were very poor when I was a child, about the only thing I knew about money is that I did not have any.
    I learned money management at a late stage in life.
    (1) Pay yourself first (save)
    (2) Learn to separate my wants from my needs.

    Am now retired and continue the above practices. We are debt free and own our home.

    When I was a Child I had so many things I wanted to be 1st was a Vet then I soon relized I would have to put Animals to sleep so I couldnt do that then I wanted to be a Doctor for ages but relized that went out the window as my Maths are deplorable then I wanted to do art and I did go to Art college but hated it then I traveled the world got married got devorced had a child and went into acting and modeling then I found I wanted to be a Interior Designer went to college got my Degree never looked back I love it

    thank you so much Pamela for your nice thoughts yes I have gone into my freinds house and she has nothing when I finnished she said it was like home out of a magazine and it didnt cost a bean she had all the stuff love doing projects for people like her who have nothing as they really do appreaite you and what you have done Ps Dont tell my cliants thank you again

    Hi Randy one of my favorite bikes I went on the back of one many moons ago from the UK to the South of France we blew everyone away fab Bike
    I wanted to own my own construction company. Never did. But, I worked on a lot of schools, hospital wings, warehouses, stores, car dealerships, and bridges as a structural welder. Then moved on to hauling stuff for working on roads. Sometimes it's kind of gratifying to look out at things and know you were a part of its making.

    sorry to here that carmaxable I do know what you mean my spelling is to none I have deslexia and I miss out words and sometimes it reads auwful but to me it looks ok glad you are managing now

    I work in Montreal as an electrician during expo,after that I came in Ont started working in the mine,after I new had a steady job,that when I decided to get marry, raise two kid,now there marry,it been 43yr,since,also build my own home,didn't take no mortgage did it myself.
    I always wanted to be a lawyer. Never had the money to go to college but that is what I always wanted and wished to be.
    When, I was a kid wanted to be a Detective started college was working Fire/Rescue got married it flopped quit college did body recovery/pick-up for ME OFC. moved down south worked sheriff dept. My father wanted me to become a Mortician thought about it because, I was a whiz at science but to much schooling. Now, I'm just a Dad.
    i wanted to go to school for civil engineering, but it just wasn't in the cards i did however own my own trucking co. for thirty years , it was a turn key operation , no pun intended,
    From the age of 12 i wanted to be a Household Cavalryman, and yes i did acheived it, and then went on to be a Farrier
    Forest ranger. Nope, but I do range through the forests
    When I was a kid I wanted to be a Eviromental Lawyer, in about 10th grade I stared modeling and desided I would move to NYC and live the single life. I knew that that career would be short lived so I went for my LPN whle in 11th and 12th grade. I had to move to GA to care for my Grandfather. SO lost my modeling contract in the move and my college credits for my LPN. I fell in love and got married.. I choose to be a full time mom and part time teacher.

    Traveling salesman.  I did become a salesman, but not a traveling one.

    MY DAD WAS IN SELLS I THOUGHT HE WAS COOL GETTING TO GO DIFF. PLACES ,MEETING DIFF. PEOPLE I WENT IN TO SELLS AND WOULD NOT CARE TO BE IN ANY THING ELSE

    Sometimes sales can be difficult, you have to be able to accept rejection pretty well. It can also be very rewarding, especially if you sell homes or yachts. lol.

    it has been good to me

    I ended up thriving in the profession I always wanted to practice. Except for a brief period when I wanted to be a history professor my interests never faltered. Its satisfying but at the same time I wonder if I may have closed myself off to a facination left unconsidered.
