    what to do for tmj

my jaw is causing me incredible pain. I thought I have had an ear infection and sore throat for two weeks. Its my jaw. Terrible headaches. How do I get it to relax and stop hurting? Does the surgery really solve the problem?

Let your doc check you on the stability (or instability for that matter) of your column, especially the vertebrae that form your neck. In many cases, pains in other body parts are provoked by such an instability. So although it is your jaw that's aching, the cause for it might not be the jaw itself, but your neck.

    Good luck,
