chem lover, that's a great question, to answer it my obvious answer would be a big NO, BUT it does happen all over the world, you should keep that in mind, not only killing their wives but way way worse stuff , i have heard hundreds of worse cases in the world related to cheating and their consequences by their partners and let me tell it's ugly as, like bluesman said, cheating is one of the worse thing you could do because you never know the limit of your partners actions, their true faces may just start appearing when you press the wrong button, some girls may cheat by thinking it will make their husbands a bit jelouse and start caring about her more, but the thing is , it doesn't , it will only make them angrier and angrier till they end to the conclusion of killing you. so bear in mind, you never know and will never know what your partner is actually thinking and how far they could go when they are angry.

    Thank you. :)

Wow...Looks like you found some passionate people chemlover7. That's the problem with subjective questions (but I think you know that), a lot of people like to read in to them. I bet those same people don't write to Hollywood asking them "How dare you make such a movie or even think such a thought"..any takers?

A crime of passion, in popular usage, refers to a crime in which the perpetrator commits a crime, especially assault or murder, against someone because of sudden strong impulse such as sudden rage or heartbreak rather than as a premeditated crime. A typical crime of passion might involve an aggressive pub-goer who assaults another guest following an argument or a husband who discovers his wife has made him a cuckold and proceeds to brutally batter or even kill his wife or the man with whom she was involved.

In the United States civil courts, a crime of passion is referred to as "temporary insanity". This defense was first used by U.S. Congressman Daniel Sickles of New York in 1859 after he had killed his wife's lover, Philip Barton Key, but was most used during the 1940s and 1950s.

In some countries, notably France, crime passionnel (or crime of passion) was a valid defense during murder cases; during the 19th century, some cases could be a custodial sentence for two years for the murderer, while the spouse was dead; this ended in France as the Napoleonic code was updated in the 1970s so that a specific father's authority upon his whole family was over.

    I wouldn't. Would you CL7?

    chemlover7

Haha, yeah I guess I did. No, I wouldn't do it. I believe that even if I'm angry and I found out that the one I loved cheated on me I would just run away from it and just be hurt. I would have gone on the complete opposite side. Eh, maybe it's a gender thing? I mean women are more prone to depression.

for those of you who thought it was a funny question. my parents were a homicide/suicide for that very reason. Adults who make poor decisions like that, affect their children in ways they could never imagine & it stays with them for life. I am a grandma now & it still has an impact on my life, although not as much as it did in my adolescent & teen years, it is still there.

wow, thank you so much for answering.
No, I'd find someone better. Let the other person have him. He'll most likely do the same thing to her. Haa, haa.
I wouldn't obviously, but it would be an interesting head count in the prison system.

Who in their right mind would answer this question with a YES? For gods sake, NOTHING warrants killing another human being for cheating on a spouse......NOTHING.

CHEMLOVER7; You are without a clue . I could be really rude here but Ill hold my tounge.Consider what cheating does man or woman the person you are cheating with has just exposed me to all their little hook ups and their pardners hook ups . God only knows whats on the table now next time we have a little afternoon fun when my tounge gives you a little pleasure should my face rot off ????? With the aids junk should I die because you did not say no.Should all conversations with future lovers start with I have herpes ????I spent 18 years with a cheating whore ,lived in a place I hated ,got treated like crap spent a fortune and in the end she left without a word and married someone else in less than a month. Do I hope she drives her car into a bridge at 100 mph you bet .May that cheating whore get just what she has given .For those who cheat there is nothing but contempt, they are lower that nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea Chemlover I am touchy and Chemlover if you think cheating is no big deal then you are not worth another moment of my time .To cheat you are declareing that you have nothing but contempt for your pardner . No matter if its a man or woman cheating no punishment is enough for that kind of behavior. May all you cheaters rot some place very hot till time ends . Do we all need to think about no contact at all or full body condoms??? Cheaters are scum and thats the end of story !!!!

Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone.

I never said I wasn't against cheating. I just wanted more of an answer rather than a rant. No offense.

IN MY MIND A MILLION TIMES IN A MILLON WAYS IN REALITY MOST LIKELY NOT . BUT MY ADVICE IS DONT EVER CROSS MY PATH AGAIN EVER TO TEST MY SELF CONTROL,MIGHT WANT TO JUST LEAVE THIS PLANET FOR GOOD TO BE SURE THAT DONT HAPPEN.THIS IS A BEHAVIOR SO LOW AND DISCUSTING THAT FOR ME YOU AND CHILD MOLESTERS ARE OF THE SAME CLOTH. TO STAB A FRIEND IN THE BACK MAKES YOU WORTHLESS AND VILE BEYOND WORDS .LOOK IN THE MIRROR WIFE BEATERS CHEATERS CHILD MOLESTERS YOU ARE ALL THE SAME .MAY YOU RECIVE JUST WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN .DRIVE OFF A CLIFF !!!!!!!

Well, granted, you shouldn't cheat on your partner (unless you have some kind of open relationship). However to me the best, most mature policy is just to walk away. They're not worth it. You'll probably go to jail or, at very least, have the knowledge that you murdered someone else in cold blood on your conscience for the rest of your life.

    What a foul ignorant question . . . . as is the mentality! :(

    chemlover7

Uh.. Thanks for the opinion instead of an answer?

no i will howl to the moon in grife darn i whoildent to that it makes things worse then whean you die god will punish you in hell in a loneley manere its beter to love theen kill

Yes, cheating is bad. Murder is worse though. NO, DEFINITELY NOT.

    Hmm. Jeez. Touchy touchy people.

Hmm. But in Shakespeare time it was acceptable. Why do you think it was?

Does it matter? We have evolved as a society and our moral standards have been raised. What was acceptable then is not acceptable now. What they did then does not excuse if it happens now.

Google Shakespearean era and read. I'm not interested so I won't be doing your research for you. Sorry.

Your earned my TU again. ;)

But I want to know why that was. Like why would people ever think that? Even back then.
