What was the last project you attempted around the house? Did you finish it?

    Men be honest.

yea Ed I know how she feels thats not bad whats left really !
TODAY: Brought down a dead tree branch that was twenty feet up that's been bugging me since we moved into this house on
    April 1st.

NO PROBLEM......UNTIL I SMELL SOMETHING DEAD COMING FROM THE DECK AREA!

Bring wife out to see if she smells it. She does. For the next three hours I crawled under my deck, removed and destroyed lattice that now has to be repaired. Unscrewed my deck boards in 6 different places and STILL have no clue where this dead animal is rotting away. Smell is sickening. Still no clue.

FED UP AND GAVE UP.......till tomorrow.

Yesterday the smell was gone. How the h*ll something DEAD left the area is beyond me but the horrible stench that I broke my beans looking for on Sunday was gone. All that work for nothing. I guess I should be happy but I'm not. Would love to know what the h*ll it was.

Sounds like your helper husband needs a good talking too. Introduce him to a broom, and shop-vac, your growing nose problem will be no more.

I have spent most of my adult life trying to organize my drawers. (wooden drawers) the only time I was organized was when I got my diagnosis of add. for that terrible condition I was given medicine for a few years. I was organzied. I was happy. add/adhd are terrible to live with. One who knows.

    I can imagine.
Last year our entire downstairs got flooded. We live in a split ranch so the downstairs is all living space. So we are still in the process of finishing that. My husband and I work great together as a team as long as we are in separate rooms. lol But eventually things get finished.

Flooding, now that's a bummer. Hope it's the last one.

Me Too, We put a second sump pump in so hopefully that will do the trick. We hadn't had a storm like that for over 40 years. Who knows we might not ever have one that bad again, or it could happen next week?? This time we're prepared anyway. Thanks Ed
Refinished all the kitchen cabinets, even put new designer moldings on them, they came out perfect, look like brand new! I am proud of myself... But,wife wants new ones now.. That was a couple years ago, I haven't needed to do anything quite as involved as that other than change a few doorknobs I found on sale that are really classy and fixed a leaky faucet.. I am not really a handyman but the cabs I thought i would try, if it didn't work, just but new ones.. It worked but i still gotta buy new ones.. go figure..

My wife has wanted to change cabinets even before they were hung, (She picked them out) so now I tell her to pay someone to do it, suddenly it's not that important. Look up "Cheap" that's the wife's picture there.
