They believe that Jesus is a god and not God. They published their own version of the Bible in the 1940s called the new world bible. In it they destroy the diety of Christ which means that the only way to salvation is through works.
Attitudes towards basic Christian beliefs
1- The trinity..............................denied
2- forgivness of sin through Christ.........denied
3- infallibilty of the Bible................distorted
4- Christ's bodily resurrection.............denied
5- 2nd coming of Christ.....................distorted
jw's also teach that there is no salvation outside their own ranks
They also set dates of Christ 2nd return 1874, 1914, 1925, and 1975

You are a pack of terrified people who are shit scared your so called god will tell you to bugger off when you cark it.
You do not even know what you believe, god is god jesus is the son of god, no hang on jesus IS god, No that`s not right god is jesus no god made jesus before he made the universe so that jesus would be available to save a world of sinners. No that can`t be right because if god knew all this ,he is after all all knowing, he would not have planted the tree in Eden.
Bugger it I give up on the lot of you brotherly love ratbags.
When the Witnesses come to my door I politely say " I appreciate you endeavours but I am a non believer, have a nice day.

They believe god is setting up his government on this earth through their denomination. So one of these days we may wake up to a coup d'etat.
It is silly for a number of reasons, number one of which is that Christ said His Kingdom is not of this world, and yes Christ is God. Another reason is because Christ nullified His theocracy when He told the Jews, this day your house is left unto you desolate. From then on Christ would be the Head of His church (not a governmental entity). His church would be identifiable because of the fruits of it's members. They would have the gifts and fruits of the Spirit; wisdom, understanding, healing, giving, teaching, love, joy, gentleness, goodness, faith, patience and so on. Christ would write His laws in their heart. The Bible, as it is written, would be their guide.

1.) Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in the Trinity (because it is not taught in the Bible) but rather, they believe that Jehovah is God and that Jesus is God's Son. (Psalm 83:18; Luke 1:32)
2.) They wholeheartedly believe that forgiveness of sins is through their faith in Christ shed blood. (Ephesians 1:7)
3.) They believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without error. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17) Jehovah's Witnesses have published a translation of the Bible, The New World Translation (NWT). The foremost reason that it was published is because it placed God's name back in the Bible where it was originally thousands of times. Interestingly, Trinitarians often claim the the NWT is biased toward Christ's position in the Bible, it is not. However, those that insist on using Bibles that removed God's name almost 7,000 times can be guilty of attempting to "destroy" the Godship of Jehovah.
4.) Jehovah's Witnesses believe in Christ's resurrection. However, they believe that Christ was raised with a spirit body not a fleshly one. (1 Peter 3:18)
5.) Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the "Second Coming" of Christ. It is not "distorted", rather their teachings regarding this take into account all the scriptures that speak on this subject not just a few. Thus, to those that are not familiar with all the scriptures that touch on this, Jehovah's Witnesses's teachings regarding Christ's "Second Coming" are "distorted".
6.) Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe that there are many paths to salvation. They believe that there is one road to salvation. (Matthew 7:13) Not all "Christian" faiths are acceptable to Christ. (Matthew 7:21-23) They believe that there is only one faith or religion. (Epesians 4:5) However, Jehovah's Witnesses recognize that there are millions of people throughout time that never had a chance to learn accurate knowledge about Jehovah God and Jesus Christ for various reasons. Thus, rather than these people being cast into a fiery tormenting hell forever due to ignorance for no fault of their own, these ones will be resurrected and given the opportunity to learn about God and Christ and to accept them. If they do, they will be blessed forever.
7.) Jehovah's Witnesses have suggested dates for when Christ would return to make the earth into a Paradise. However, contrary to what many say, Jehovah's Witnesses would always provide caustionary statements to the effect that the reader would understand that the dates provided were a possibility rather then a certainty. Jehovah's Witnesses have never claimed to be inspired prophets. Their human imperfection caused them to want certain promises in the Bible to happen before God purposed them too. At times, that desire was reflected in certain publications.
8.) Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe that a person gains salvation through "works". A person cannot earn salvation. (Ephesians 2:8,9) However, a person that has true faith will have works to back that faith up. It is not a matter of a person saying they have faith. Faith without works is dead. (James 2:26)
