    Mass media caters to youth; is the dearth of mature influence detrimental to us culturally?

    I feel the biggest problem with the "mature" catering to the youth of the world is our kids are missing out on one of the most fantastic things they will ever experience, BEING A KID.

    Good point. Are the people running the entertainment industry under
    such pressure to appeal to young audiences that their "adult" needs
    find expression by accelerating the burden of maturity on their
    underage talent and through them our children?
