not good. Can raise your blood pressure and cause other adverse conditions. Are you a type A ?
Really, never heard that. I do have high blood pressure. And I curse it every morning when I take my meds. Type A yes.
Every body talks to them selves at some point.I do believe eggplant has a point. If you start to answer yourself you have a real problem.
I often abuse myself when I make a mistake when making a clock cabinet,'You stupid old bastard why did you do that" Or "OLLEY would be happy if he saw that". Olley being the foreman I did my cabinetmaking apprentership under in the late 1940s early 1950s.

I talk to myself, I also sing to myself and talk and sing to my dogs. I talk to the cats, they are not fond of singing.

My cat used to do the opposite. He must have liked my voice for some reason. He also liked to listen to classical music. When I turned the radio on to the classical station he would come in the room and sit down near the speaker.
Yes, It's funny you should ask that, b/c just today I found myself talking to myself more than before. I thought, well, I'll ask one of my g.friends, if they think it's ok for me to talk to myself. I don't do it excessively. I talk to my cats, too. I think it's b/c I am the only one I have to talk to---when I'm not on the phone or with someone.
Way back in Jr. High, my teacher said it's allright to talk to yourself, as long as you don't answer yourself. I haven't reached that point, yet. But, when I was in my 20s, a long time ago, my g.friend's brother would have 2 way conversations with himself.....like when he was outside putting up Chris. lights or something It was scary b/c his voice would even change a little when the other person in him was answering him. I think he was schizophrenic, but I lost touch with them, so I don't know what ever happened to him. His family seemed oblivious to the situation, even tho he and his sis were living at home.
