    either, and/or!
    President Clinton, I believe.
    former president clinton.
He can always be addressed as Mr. President or President Clinton or Cigar Man.

    mr. President

He should refereed to as "President Clinton" or be address as "Mr President"

Those who have attained the top elected position, in one of the THREE government, (Executive, Legislative and Judicial) branches in the Federal and State(s) Government(s) in the USA retain that TITLE for life.

Presidents, Senators, Federal and State Supreme Court Justices, as well as Governors and State  Senators and city Mayors are therefore addressed and refereed to, as such.

Congressmen and State Assemblymen however are generally refer to as "Former Congressman" etc. and addressed as such, but only as a courtesy, since those branches of the Federal and State government are the lesser of the Legislative branches below Senator.

sawali, I know he was a fine president. I don't know how he had the time with all the
"stress release" he had going on.He did the country well but he did his wife dirty. Someone has to have morals Ducka. I gues politicians are exempt. If I had that much trash in my closet I certainly would't run for public office.

No he just had lakanokie thats all

I think that a "former President" should be addressed as "former".  He is not the President now so I don't understand why he, and other "formers", are addressed that way  .Does anyone know for sure, what SHOULD BE the correct title?
