    we have our decree nisi, but my wife will not agree to the decree absolute,, what can i do?
    I want to be free to marry my new partner, Our marriage was over a long time ago. I found a new love. she just does not want me to be happy again.

    Who the fuck do you think you are? Why did you get married in the first place? Marriage is for ever. You do not get married just for a peace of ass, If you want to go from one peace of ass to another don't get married. I hope you don't have any kids. You don't deserve them. What kind of bringing up did you have? You are the typical piece of shit of the day. Only worried about your own happiness.

      I DO NOT KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE BUT IN "THE LAND DOWNUNDER" AKD AUSTRALIA THE DECREE ABSOLUTE IS AUTOMATIC AFTER A PERIOS OF 3 MTHS FROM DECREE NISI. I KNOW THIS AS I HVE HAD TWO DIVORCES> TALK TO THE CLERK OF THE COURT>

        all has been agreed upon,,, ie,,finances,,, the only thing i can think of is that she does not want be to be happy again, and does not want me to marry. our marriage was over long ago.

          My job was to work in Civil Litigation inclusive of matrimonial and the care and custody of any children within the family.


          It is very difficult to give a straight answer to your question not knowing the facts. There must be some sort of dispute on agreeing the final decree to postpone the settlement. Has your own solicitor thrown any light on what the problem is?
