    Talk to your OBGYN, sounds like you need hormones. I'm not a doctor so talk with one.....

    Not to nitpick, but aren't antidepressants and SSRI's generally the same thing? Antidepressants are SSRI's - plus some other ingredients, pending on the brand. Just a question and/or clarification - or you meant "or" as "as in." And you are absolutely correct.
    Hormone replacement therapy is also available, even though it has become controversial over the last few years. Finally, there are herbal/natural remedies, but I have no experience (or much faith in) that area.

    There is natural hormone replacement treatment for hot flashes and mood swings which will help to get relief from the pain.
