The love of God. The forgiving spirit of God. The understanding of God.

I'm just getting ready for bed, but I'll try to make a quick answer that makes sense. Grace is unmerited favor. In other words it is some favor done for you that you have done nothing to earn. There are two types of Grace spoken of in the Bible one is forgiving grace and although there are steps that must be followed to receive this gift, it is completely a gift that you absolutely cannot earn, deserve or merit. Those steps are basically repent and confess, and even repenting and confessing are part of grace because it is the Holy Spirit that brings one to repentance. The second is empowering Grace, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Without Me you can do nothing. Hope that helps. g'night

Blessed in the Understanding of His Presence within.

Mitchell, I couldn't say it any better! That was wonderful reading!

Aren't you missing the true meaning of Christmas if you try to celebrate it WITHOUT any kind of spiritual involvement such as a Christmas Eve church service and the experience of viewing a creche?
