I hope this sick child can see the humor. Well at least you earned 2 good karma here and 2 above for the humor.

    Like I said sorry, I didn't know.
Never heard of this one before. Wondering if there was ever another name this was called instead of fifth's disease.

It's an illness that affects young children that causes fevers, headaches, diarrhea, and aches and pains along with rash that can not be combated with antibiotics. It makes them very sick for a few days but it's not so grave their bodies can't fight it on it's own. They do recover on their own but it's no fun for them or mom. My youngest son use to get it and it one to two times a year and it makes you feel like crap when there's nothing you or the doctor can do. There is no cure except to grow out of it.

My God, Colleen, I feel like I must have grown up a recluse. So many things that children get that I've never been aware of before. Like the boils and now this. I only had the normal things like mumps, measles, roseola, colds and the flu. I lucked out with this other stuff.
Make sure you don't get sixth disease, this causes you to itch (other people) and could get you arrested if you are out in public.

Make sure not to get around a woman with a rash... that could really get ugly.

I noticed and the disease only attacks small children. I wonder if this child knows about yeast infections. I doubt that they are old enough yet.
Yes in some cases it can be itchy. Did your doctor give you an anti itch cream?
Ive only ever had four diseases so i will have to wait for the fifth before i can tell you.

You're too old to get it. It only affects children. Be happy you missed it.
