When I was little we used to get sweeties called spangles; prize bars; texan bars and football chews. And snickers used to be called marathon. Shame they don't make them any more !!

Super Bubble bubble gum, Green Apple Flavour. We lived a couple of blocks away from the neighbourhood general store where the green apple gum was sold for two cents per piece in the 1970's. My grandmother used to give my uncles and aunts and I money and then send us to the store to buy candy so she could have a few minutes of peace and quiet, but when I would come home chewing green apple gum she would make me throw it in the trash because she could not stand the smell. Those were the good old days, I think. LOL
