If you answer a question, your answer is on line where anyone in the world can read what you have said. If your on-screen name is trackable to you then your name and what you have said is public. If you use a name as your own that is not your real name then the only people who can discover who you are is clever hackers, the FBI, CIA and most other computer savvy countries. I, personally have no concern about anyone knowing who I am because I have nothing to hide and I own nothing that could be stolen.
Blogging is fun and can be very entertaining. AkaQA is a public site. It is like you walked into this room where we are sitting around discussing various subjects with everyone else. Everything said and done here is available for anyone to read and comment about. Some folk come here and read the answers and questions, some read the bios of the people here. Everything I have written as a question or answer is available for anyone to read. If you select my name you can read anything and everything I have written here. When I printed it all out last month it was about 30 pages of comments. Others have written far more. I read several, my favorite writers. The net is made of public information and any subject can be studied by using Google to do your walking for you.
