    I know that you are not supposed to flush out of date medications down the toilet. why?

    Yes there are worse things, but they say the medication is in the water supply then, It gets into fish and animals that drink the water, and can even get into humans.
    I HAD A FRIEND THAT FLUSHED HIS VIAGRA AWHILE BACK COULDN'T GET HIS TOILET TO GO DOWN FOR A WEEK!!LOL

    Yes, like Umbriel and JDB, mentioned I saw a show on how the urine of women on birth control is staying in our water supply. Good answers thumbs up.
    It can comtaminate the ground water... If you are on city water the recycling system can not take all the chemicals out of the water... Use old coffe grounds... put outdated pills in bag w/ old coffee grounds.. It speeds up decomp.
