Sorry to hear your father-n-law has stomach cancer.

    Symptoms

Early stomach cancer often does not cause symptoms. As the cancer grows, the most common symptoms are:

Discomfort or pain in the stomach area

    Difficulty swallowing

    Nausea and vomiting

    Weight loss

Feeling full or bloated after a small meal

Vomiting blood or having blood in the stool

Hope this is some help, may there be a speedy recovery, God Bless!!!

    Correct.
Tell Dad from me to get up & out! I am myself on chemotherapy as i speak. I am 57. I really do know how he feels, but life as normal does, and MUST continue as near normal as possible. Yes waiting for biopsy results is difficult, but he really must remain positive not just for himself but also for his family. Dad should progress OK, i'm sure with chemo or radiotheraphy with possible curative sugery after. Surgery for most stomach cancer is very sucsessful. I recieved my results in mid April, and the believe it or not, the hardest part was to inform my family. Even on the chemo i am managing to get up and still work, albeit quite often tired at times. I will have surgery soon. I also have the full love and support from my family. I do hope this post helps. I DO NOT wan't any TUs for this post. Thank you all very much.
