gabopentin is used to suppress pain and discomfort of nerve damage (neurontin) there are also numerous other drugs that alleviate these symptoms,i.e cymbalta. siffrol etc, good results when you google these medications, often a combination of medications is effective, gabopentin is also used for bi polar disorder, cymbalta is also used as an anti depressant

My husband takes it for nerve pain and restless leg syndrome and it works for him. I don't know anything about Donepezil.

Gabapentin can be used for seizures and neuralgia (nerve) pain, like the pain that is perceived after having shingles or with nerve damage caused by diabetes.
Donepezil is used to help slow the progression of Alzheimers, but it has to be taken early on while the disease is in the early stages.
