no doubt this is a major problem.. my brother reports in northern new hampshire that domestic disturbance is up over 300 percent in the last two yesrs he is an active member of RESPONCE can be found on line.weather its a rise in reports or a jump in in accutual incidents, whos to say i know many live in fear of their spouse and should not have to tolarate this.may the courts as well as the law enforcement could do better.. but obviously they can't be every where. so what now..i dont know!!

thanks. i am also facing this problem since long time. my wife always irritating me and after she called to police and filed fake complaints. she had also filed divorce case, domestime violencnce case and maintenance case. she disturbing whole the family.

I just remembered who he is. You're right. He's an abuser and is trying to cover it with b.s.
just go in the police station and court and find out that how much cases are filed against men.number of cases u will find fake. after that give me reply.
What police station? Where is this police station? Which country? All police stations or just the one you got arrested at? My father (when he was alive) use to beat my mother. She had him arrested 2X. He lied a blue streak about hitting her. He claimed she beat him up. He stood 6'2" and she is 5'4". Do you know how ridiculous he looked trying to claim she beat him up? Well apparently not ridiculous enough since the all male police department believed him and talked her into dropping the charges, well more like pressured her with veiled threats. For some reason in this modern world there are far too many men who still believe it's OK for a man to beat a woman. You appear to be one of those ball less men. It takes no balls to strike a woman.

He sounds as if he's in India. He'll most likely bribe the police. In Asian countries, you can almost get away with murder. Unless, things have improved, he will get away with it. The only protection is her family.

I personally think the person asking this question is enjoying a bit of the "lets piss off everybody on Q&A today".
Fair enough but I know how easy it is to feel discriminated against and I would advise "stuff them all and get on with your life"
