    Yes you can, It is an offence to drive a vehicle of any type you are not licensed to drive in all states of Australia. You are a provisional driver in your first year of driving and as such your points loss for losing your licence is a big fat ZERO.

    You are licensed to drive a automatic car and that is all, so tough bickies, do the crime do the time.

    You will lose your license and have to go through the whole thing from learners permit on all over again.

    Next time get a manual licence then you can drive manual or automatic.

    Where did you get your license? As far as I know, a license is good for any passenger vehicle manual or automatic.
