I have just read thru a looong debate on whether or not you believe in Jesus. As I have stated before I am not a practicing christian, but I have no reason to doubt that he actually existed & that he was a good man who advocated goodness, kindness & honesty.
But miracles? Well I don't know! You have to remember the craziness of the times when they nailed people to crosses & left them to die slowly,or fed them to lions & other exotic animals just for sport.
Also there was no media to report on anything.Everything was passed down by word of mouth.Oh! Except when Moses brought the tablets down from the mountain.AT LAST! SOMETHING IN WRITING!
But having said all that, even if you don't believe in Jesus/God,at least believe in what he reportedly stood for.Goodness, love of other human beings, love of the planet,& have a conscience. And that,my freinds is the most I have said about religion in 40 years!

John:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Hi Randy :) i'm also christian but i also have lots of questions, feel free to answer or ignore :)
For all of his 'Miracles' didn't he eat when he was hungry,Drink when he was thirsty, rest when he was tired. And,if he wore them, put his pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us?
Another question; The whole story seems to happen around the middle east. What about the rest of the world?Surely someone of this omnipotence could spread the word further than that.
But as christians we tend to be told he is half god and half man like Randy said. I'm trying to understand what it really means. :)

I asked a question & gave a point of view.Is that blasphemy??
If this was the Spanish inquisition I may have a case to answer, but it's not,This is 2011 & we do enjoy freedom of speech in our countries.Don't we?
Just as we are physical human nature, wrapped around a spiritual nature, fully dependent on God for our life, here and for eternity, whether we know it or not.
