Warning! Christian question for Christians coming......

Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ!

How was you blessed this Sunday in church?

I have been teaching the children in Sunday school and children's Church. What a BLESSING! If you have never tried teaching the children I urge you to partake. God will fill your heart with blessing. Don't fear the responsibility of teaching children. It is not difficult, the lessons are the milk of the Word and the children will love you for interacting with them.

    Mark testifies.....

Mar 10:13 ¶ And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and [his] disciples rebuked those that brought [them].
Mar 10:14 But when Jesus saw [it], he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Mar 10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

FoG...To encourage...About 25 years ago I lead a children work in my church. Had around 70 every Friday night. These were kids from a rough area. 6 Months ago I called at a drive through McDonalds and A young woman served me. She looked and said to me. 'did you teach me 25 years ago in church' I asked her name and she told me. She then said ' I left school and started drugs and drink. My life was a mess for years and had to go into rehab. When in there I was lying in bed and the things you told me about God all those years ago came back to me. I gave my life to God and He changed my life completly. I am now working and am married to a wonderful man' ......God made my day in letting me meet her. I felt so good. So fog keep up the good work .

    Great testimony Friend!

Wow seventy! That is alot of kids at one time. We have no idea what has grown up from the seeds we have planted. One plants another waters and God gives the increase!

God has promised....Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.

Many have asked me why I debate with those who obviously do not want to hear God's Word. I know that there is probably a slim chance that I will convince those who do not want to consider and are set in their ways, but I know others are watching and reading and I know God is at work as His word goes forth. We really have no idea how many we have lead to Christ just by the answers we give on a social board such as this.

Thanks for sharing the testimony. It was a blessing to me. Keep pressing towards the mark!

    God Bless!

FOG...That was great to read. Thanks and God bless
It was a blessing day today, we celebrated the feast of Pentecost, one of the most significant holy days! Plus, the music was absolutely inspiring which I care a lot.

That is great, FOG, you teach children! I teach children all the time. It really is a rewarding job. As an adult and a teacher, I always think about children as unfilled art sketchbooks. As they grow, they are drawing/filling their thoughts and imaginations in the books. It's my duty to influence them positively... Just my two cents...... :-)

    Greetings Schubee,

Thank you for sharing that! It is worth far more than two cents! Often times churches have trouble finding enough teachers for the children. If they only knew what they were missing.

May the Lord bless thee in thy ministry.
I wonder how many priests had the words of Mark in their heads while abusing children?
    schubee

There are many many more wonderful priests than the priests who commit sins.

    I would say zero Nomdeplume.

Doesn't matter if one is a priest, a pastor or a preacher. Except a man be born of the Spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

1Jo 5:1 ¶ Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Do you think these abusers really believe there is an all seeing God of Heaven watching them? They are religious, but know not God.

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2Ti 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.

    I don't go to church.

    ok......?
