If anyone wants proof that there is a God and there is a Devil they need only take a peek and read the comments posted when God or the bible is the topic. Those who don't believe will name call and belittle, fruits of the Devil who opposes God. Those who do believe are kind and try to help, fruits of the Holy Spirit. Just like the scriptures teach it will be. Unbelievers and how they treat believers are living proof that the bible is true.

Sex before marriage, adultery,incest, homosexuality and bestiality are sins against God.

Read what the Bible says about, at  Leviticus 18:6;  1 Corinthians 6:9,10; Romans 1:26,27.

It doesn't actually say anything on that topic directly. I think you know the answer to that one. Common sense would tell you that a sexual relationship comes with many twists and therfore if you do not have a committment in mind, you are asking for a lot of turmoil. Promiscuity is mentioned in the bible in a couple of places though, with references to harlets etc. Not exactly the same as "premarital sex".

The Bible is mute on the subject of premarital sex for unmarried adults. The only prohibition for the Jews was not to commit adultery, which covered two areas. One was sex between two married persons. The other was adultery as fornication, which was sex between a married person and a single person.

I believe that all religions agree on the prohibition of adultery, and that the protect of the society and family.

i have 2 agree with asthma that this started way before any religion originated.. but then all those prophets came to bring all sins to an end... including adultery (sex without marriage) , drinking alcohol, gambling, bribery and so many uncountable sins the society was involved at the time all the Holy Books were written by these prophets... i believe in Arab countries those who have committed adultery are supposed to be whipped 100 times before he could lead a normal life again ;) so it is definitely not going to be left unpunished , if its not punished here then hereafter....
