We had a hot dog lunch at work and I tried sauerkraut for the FIRST time, man it was GOOD !!! I also like them with mustard,relish, onions and chili. I forgot HOT PEPPERS.

Chicago Dogs:(mustard),tomato,pickle,and whole peppers on a poppy seed bun. Your supposed to also sprinkle celery seed on top but I can do without this.

If I cant get chilly, mustard would be my next choice.
But what is really good is cole slaw.
Use to be and maybe still is, a place in W.Va. where you could get sauce and slaw on a hot dog and it was great.

@Randy Palmer..When i was a kid and the family would go to W.VA and visit the grandparents (before Interstate 77)my dad would stop at a hotdog place at the end of the old Rt.21 and pick up chilly & slaw dogs for when we got to my grandparent's house,you ordered them by the dozen,and man they sure was gooood.Wonder if it's the same place?

IF I cant grill I briol my hot dogs.. Never boil or steam. I either do Chili with mustard and onions or Ketchup, Mustard, onions and relish.... (the only onions I use are Sweet Vidalia onions)

Hey man sounds good to me, the ONLY way I grill is with charcoal and it's worth the wait my friend. We can surely drink a few, I'm a bartender too LOL. My brother-in -law is getting married on the 25th and I'm the bartender.

I like to put ketchup and mustard on both sides of the bun and then put in the hot dog! Sometimes I like to put some Cheeze Whiz too! How about you?

you've got to try a "bean dog", thats with the good homemade baked beans, you know, with onions,bacon, and brown sugar. Or even try it with Bush's baked beans.
