    my daughter lost her wic due to the reason they count her son's ssi payment as income for the family. this money is issued to him for his disability. it is not to be used for the other children. how can she get her wic back for the two small children?

    I believe she's going to have to submit a letter of dispute and a have a hearing to make her claim. A review board would then look to see if her children are eligible for the WIC program. How is it that her son is eligible for SSI? Is he old enough to provide for himself? Why can't she provide for her children on her own?
