Obama, My choice for a collection of answers. Democrat, Reasonable, well spoken, educated, married, not angry or threatening. Not McCain. Anti-Bush policy with Hillary Clinton...My first choice. I knew Hillary would not go for VP because it is less powerful than Sec. of State. Obama's work in the legal system prior to running was significant and pro-public benefit. Being raised as he was gave him a world vision which can only be meaningful if you have such experience also...as I do.

8 yrs of Bush(Republican) muddle-->votes for Democrat candidate

Stupidity of McCane's vice president selection-Sarah Palin-->more votes for Obama

Presidential debates-->Obama KOs McCane

Even my state, Ohio, voted for Obama, that speaks it all.

I am not an Obama fan so I must be careful..

What I see here is that it seems to be in tow categories-- Highly intelligent people, PhD's down to college students-- All schools participate in the Obama frenzy and very last is the bottom dwellers.

Here the middle class seems to be conservative although its difficult to tell because of all the Obama stickers. Conservatives here are afraid to disclose their political beliefs as i am one of thousands. Putting a conservative themed sticker on your car here is asking for trouble, they will bust out your windows to say the least.

As to why they voted obama?? well the upper class its the stigma of socialism, they stick together, and i will argue this point with anyone here..

The schools? Because the kids are being indoctrinated by the teaching staff that is also liberals. Whth the kids, Obama is the cool thing to do, conservative kids get beat up..

The bottom dwellers??

because they have this thing in their head that Obama is their messiah and he is going to give them everything they need, food, shelter, nice car and gas, cell phones etc. ( And I think they are right)

As a hard working American, I don't like my taxes going to these undesirables that won't work, have no desire to do anything but have babies and commit crimes. We are infested with illegals and nothing is done about it, this is not totally obama's fault but rather the fault of the left. We need balance - Next year is election year so Obama is trying to lean to the right on issues but he must be careful that he doesn't lose his left voting liberals..
Obama spends a lot of time here in CA where he has a strong left base, he was here yesterday.. alGore is here too just a couple miles from me w/ his global warming office.
