    Primary O2 sensor location?

    I know of one on the intake manifold of my GM car that measures O2 levels for carb calculation in the fuel injection system.
    Typical locations include the exhaust manifold & before & after the catalytic converter. They should be replaced every 35~50 k miles and they are inexpensive and easy to replace. Thanks for reminding me, I think i need to do this job too..

    Usually if you are having a sensor problem, the onboard computer will set a code. If the computer can not compute fuel/air ratio it is possibly the O2 sensor.. (if you are lucky)
