In Arizona, if an employee works a 6 hour shift can an employer deduct 30 minutes for a non-paid lunch break meaning, employee gets paid for 5 1/2 hours? Are there any laws governing when an employer must provide a lunch break?

As you probably know it depends on the State and if you are a government employee. You may want to ask for someone in AZ, but you can look it up on line at labor laws .gov or something like that.
