    Right here in NH. I have been there.
    windiest place in Europe is Tarifa, Spain.
    It depends on how you define it.

    Mt. Washington has the fastest recorded wind and it in in N. America.
    perhaps the artic....
    i would say the parts of the u.s. that suffers from tornado's.
    Antartica would be my guess.
    Sorry people but it is Mt. Washington in the lovely state of New Hampshire, USA.

    Not much here besides scenic beauty and no income tax. People come here to hide from the law because there's still so much undeveloped land (mostly on the sides of mountains) and people tend to leave others alone (its the stubborn Yankee in most of us). We do have that big mountain and we do have big gusts of wind on that mountain!

    Sorry Ann, didn't mean to insult you in any way. I was born and raised in New Hampshire and even though I am sick of the blasted long winters, I am still proud of my State.
