    You really should check more professional sites than this one for answers to questions like these. A wrong answer from a volunteer here guessing could lead to injury for you. Check with the manufacturer of the wheelie bars.
    Depends on the length of the bars, and material bars are made of. If Aluminum, 36 inch long, try three inches. See how it hooks up, and make small adjustments, 1/4 inch at a time. If 4130 steel you may want go 2 1/2 inches. Tire size and horsepower are major factors as well. This is a good starting point for 4oo HP or less.
