      I think your Budgie should be alright ,But have a vet cheak it out,and keep it warm and dry,,

        Your parakeet may have the bird flu, and it is possible for humans to catch diseases from animals. Hopefully it's not something more serious.

          I would take the Budgie to the vet, goodness knows what you might have given him/her.
          Don`t be a panic merchant, poor little Budgie getting blamed for everything.

              Rinse out your eye with tincture of witch-hazel. If the bird is healthy there really should be no need for alarm!
