Hollywoods was a colourful doll toy series of the 1980s made by the Tonka company and designed for bath-play. There were three series, the first released in 1987, the last in 1988. The dolls had streaked hair, half of which was a neon color and the other half was gray. But the most notable feature was that this hair changed colour according to the temperature[1]. They had painted-on swimsuits and sunglasses in bright colors, and brightly colored painted-on tights, sometimes with patterns on them. They were about 5 inches tall and looked like pre-teen girls.
If they're keeping them for the collectible value, sure, why not? If they're keeping them for "other" purposes, well then, to each his own. If you suspect this man could be a pedophile, I'm not really sure how and to who you would share the suspicion with if the dolls are your only "evidence".
