Finding out who we truly are means really searching our hearts to see what kind of person we are, what our values are and how we treat others and ourselves.

I think we all go through stages in our lives that we question...we are constantly changing and learning so how can we always know exactly who we are all the time. In the beginning we are defined as the child of, breaking into teen years we try to break away as an individual, We get married and become the wife of , then mom, once the kids leave an entire part of who we have felt we are is once again removed. Just remember that in life, we are not defined by what role we play...it is our character that defines who we are. Look at why your friends like you, what you enjoy, are you adventuresome, do you have a good sense of humour, are you honest, are you a mother and a great caregiver...these are all parts of who we are at this time in our lives. Trying to figure out who we are by roles never works because the roles will constantly change.

I get up every morning and look in the mirror ans say. 'Hello wow its you and you look so good' Then I know its me. Ha

You find out who you truly are simply by living life and going with the flow and also trusting your instincts!

What you produce shows you who you are.. so be creative. your dreams and desires show you who you are becoming. Meditation is just the thing to silence the mind and search for identity beyond the physical.

you find out who you really are by the refection of those around or close to you.if you have dramas and chaos in your life ,this is part off you if you are happy and joyful in life this too will be reflected around you

About fourteen years ago I found out who I really was when a friend of mine challenged me to read the NT bible. God spoke to me through His word and I seen the ugly of my soul. There was good there as well, but the ugly needed to be taken out.

We cannot trust our stoney heart, God says; "Jer 17:9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

But God promised a cure for those willing to accept it; "Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."

One might argue "I have a soft and loving heart, my heart is not cold and stoney". One might ask themsleves, do you really love all people, even those who persecute you and despitefully use you? All are born with a measure of love and the capacity to love, but the dark ugly hate is right there as well.

Jesus acknowledged that even the wicked can do good things; "Luk 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? "

If you want to find out who you really are just read the word of God, the Christian bible. The bible has the answer to every question concerning life and death, heaven and hell.
