I think an A+ report would leave me with no doubt as to "who, what when, where, why, and how". The information would be presented in a logical sequence; sentences would be well-constructed; paragraphs would have good topic sentences and supporting data.
Graphics, illustrations, and other visuals would be appropriate and abundant.
Even if the topic were not one that was interesting or entertaining, humor can be used. What If scenarios can be incorporated. Written illustrations can paint pictures.
People who tell you to be interested in your topic and find fun facts to make it interesting are absolutely right. Even "boring" stuff can be interesting if presented properly.
