ROGER WHEN YOU USE THE TERM GLOBAL WARMING IT SHOWS YOU HAVE FELL BEHIND THE TIMES. NO BODY WITH MORE THAN TWO BRAIN CELLS BOUGHT IT. NOW US FOLKS WITH NO LIFE AND LIMITED PEOPLE SKILLS CALL IT CLIMATE CHANGE. IF YOU DONT THINK THIS IS TRUE JUST ASK ALGOR. WHILE YOUR AT IT ASK HIM ABOUT THE CARBON FOOT PRINT OF HIS HOME

Earth quakes with certain parameters cause tsunami's, which mean large wave in bay, in Japanese, not global warming. Global warming changes the mean hight of the oceans. For example, in the 12-15th centuries, the world was about ten degrees warmer than it is today and most historians believe it had a direct influence on people in the form of better food and a greater emergence of global trade. In other words, the warmer Earth produced the conditions ripe for the Renaissance and a new growth of knowledge and arts that probably would not, and could not have happened during the time period known as the Little Ice Age which actually froze rivers in England enough to ice skate on. That means the problem is not that the world is heating up, it has been much warmer in the past and no the polar bears did not become extinct, the problem is the speed at which the world is heating up is faster than in any time either historians, archeologists, or geo-scientists have seen - ever. Another way to look at it is with the tsunami. For example, in northern California the tsunami hit the harbor destroying the harbor, killing one person, and sinking 35 boats sailing vessels was no more water than normally comes into the harbor over a six hour period. The problem was that it all came in in less than 15 minutes. Six hours worth of water in less than fifteen minutes destroyed the harbor, and the concern is that "Global Warming" may also have the same effect: Warming earth, no problem - warming earth really fast - potentially a problem. You may argue the potential problems and their effects on global communities world wide, but the fact global warming is occurring is a fact verified in world wide fossil records and geo-science records. Attempting to make the argument that global warming causes tsunamis, seems to be a more difficult, if not impossibly difficult case to make with lack of evidence I have seen. But I am sure others will attempt to make the agument without my help.
