    Well, they did say we evolved from monkeys...
    Great Apes share the same Chromosome set. The differences between Humans and our nearest relative, the Chimpanzee, (about 3%) are mostly found on the Y chromosome; the male one.

    I found these two animals who share our diploid number of
    chromosomes. I'm not a biologist -I wonder why our chromosome
    numbers match yet we are so physiologically different.
