    Bad Grammar, or what ?

    Is it just me? Or is the volume of poorly written posts on this site increasing? Dyslexia,laziness,carelessness or occasional typo errors, I don't know, but this can't be a representative sample of our society. If it is, where have we gone wrong ?

        It seems to me, while schoolwork may be perfectly composed, the youth now strive to project an ignorant persona when not be graded.....and many of them "is" quite successful.

          Maybe people are just being hasty, lazy or informal. After all I don't think we are being graded on any questions. Just reaching out for help from a friendly community. What bothers me more then grammar would be the obsene or questions in very poor taste.

            Since we usually don't know a thing about a commentator and we can't accurately guess at the body language, the written word is the only medium that we have to shape our perception of the individual's query.

            That said, I think that we DO "grade" the commentators, whether we do so consciously or not.

            As for obscene comments, that's entirely another matter.

                Sorry for my bad grammar. English is my second language and I'm still learning everyday. I'm trying my best not to get bad spelling and grammar.. ;)

                  I agree with you digger. I think it's done mostly by teenagers who are used to phone texting and couldn't care less about spelling.They either don't know how to spell or they don't care.

                      Sorry to hear that Jenn not everyone has perfect grammer and I don't think everyone on here has to. We should concentrate on the questions and try to help each other.

                        Why are you sorry, I am fabulous.. Dificultly helps you work hard and grow, you can evaluate what is trully imporant and laugh at the rest. My spelling is certianly laughable!
