You can sync your computer with your phone, using either bluetooth (which is a wireless device connection) or USB or firewire cable, whichever works with your computer and phone. You can then share a calendar, photos, and other files. Smart phones allow you to connect to the internet, answer emails and chat, and this is also updated when you log into those services on your computer. How you manage to sync your phone with your computer depends on your phone.
