What is the most dangerous snake in the world?

I mean land snakes, not sea snakes. I know that the most venomous snakes are the sea snakes.

There is a sea snake living round Australia. I can't remember its name but it has the unusual ability to breathe throgh its butt. All Aussies talk through their arses so it must be true.

I'm still laughing after reading your comment! Shame on you! lol

It seems I have done a disservice both to the snake and Aussies. The snake is the banded sea kris, Laticauda colubrina which returns to the surface to breathe air but can also absorb oxygen from water through its skin and anus. Another interesting fact about this creature is that the male has two penises.

Oh my. If those snakes could talk what an interesting conversation that would be.

@ itsmee. Australian men also have two penises. And we talk through our arses ever since the Yanks were here in ww2. They talked that much shit it became contagious.

Australia has the most venimous snakes, spiders and sea creatures in the world. We also have the best looking women, handsome blokes and always tell the truth.

    THE TRUTH AT LAST
    Hydrophis Belcheri of Taipai

Is there a common name for the snake? Is it a viper or what? Where's it from, I may need the venom for someone, I mean some experiments lol.
The one which has just bitten you.
i will never go to taipai. but again, i'd probably die if i saw a plain garden snake.
    some experiments, leeroy ...? eeeek
my dad used to call me a viper on tin roller skates. (that's probably when the phobia started) ha.
The King Brown from Oz is a pretty nasty bastard also. I nearly trod on one once.
Don't know about the common name but it's from Taipai - some place I will never visit as long as this snake is around.
I who am a snake lover and own a ball python named "Earl" would not want to get within 10 yards of a "Black Mamba"! There are different opinions though about which snake is the most dangerous..I'm sure the dangerous snakes are battling over being first! lol (:

    Has he been de-fanged?

I'm not afraid of snakes either. When I was in Morocco I asked a snake charmer if I could hold a king cobra and he looked at me like I was crazy. In Egypt I did get to hold a non poisonous snake around my neck and have a picture taken. One time when I was on the subway in New York City a rather short woman got on the train with a giant boa constrictor wrapped all around her body. It's head was tucked inside her jacket. There were two women sitting next to the woman with the snake who was standing by the door. One of them jumped up with a scared look on her face and proceeded to hurry into the next car of the train. The other remained seated right next to the snake handler. She was fast asleep and, therefore, blissfully unaware of what was going on. I was sitting directly across from them. Unbeknownst to the woman with the snake, it's head came out from under her jacket and, at first, looked out the train door window. It then proceeded to lower it's head down toward the sleeping woman's face. It's licking tongue almost touched her. Luckily I warned her about it before the other woman woke up. Can you imagine that poor woman's reaction if I hadn't? Lol.

Cool story....I imagine Egypt was a real trip...yes, I would think you were slightly whacked if you asked me if you could hold my King Cobra (not that I'd ever have one!) Thanks for brightening my morning (I just logged on) with your comment? (:
